Recently, we had the joy of being part of such a celebration. A garden filled with thirty Bernese Mountain Dogs, each one welcomed like an honoured guest. Some wore blush pink bows. The atmosphere was soft, thoughtful, and filled with the kind of love that doesn’t need to be loud to be unforgettable.

The cake for this particular gathering began not in the kitchen, but in conversation. The client shared a mood board, a colour palette, and little glimpses into their dog’s personality. From that, a cake took shape—a three-tier pastel design, adorned with fresh raspberries and blueberries, hand-piped details, and a delicate crown of biscuits.

We adore involving our clients in this process. Whether it’s a simple theme, a favourite fruit, or a ribbon that inspired a colour, these collaborations allow us to create cakes that are more than beautiful—they’re personal.
