Pack the Biscuits: A Love Letter to Countryside Walks with My Dog

There are few things I love more than packing a small satchel, tying my laces, and heading into the countryside with Fifi leadin the way—her tail aloft like a tiny flag of joy.

We walk not to get somewhere, but to be somewhere. Among tall grasses and whispering hedgerows, where time loosens its grip and the world softens around the edges. It’s here that our bond feels most alive—me and her, step for step, breath for breath.

In my coat pocket, there are always biscuits. Not for me, of course, but for Fifi. Our handmade Dog Pawtisserie biscuits—created with simple, honest ingredients and the kind of flavours dogs crave.

Her favourite changes with the seasons. Blueberry and coconut when it’s warm, sweet and refreshing like summer rain. In autumn, sweet potato and carrot, earthy and comforting. She’ll pause and look back when I reach for one, as if she knows I’ve picked the perfect moment.

There’s banana and strawberry, soft and cheerful like the way she bounces when she spots a squirrel. And always, our classic: peanut butter and oats, because that’s the flavour of trust.

Each biscuit is vegan, handmade, and cut into elegant shapes. Not just because it’s pretty—but because every detail matters when it comes to what (and whom) you love.

These walks are more than exercise. They’re communion. A time to listen without words. To share a moment, a view, a biscuit.

Because dogs don’t remember what we buy them. They remember where we go with them. And how we make them feel when we get there.

So next time you wander, bring the biscuits. Let the world fall away. And walk, not just with your dog—but with wonder.
